本试剂盒采用具有独特分离作用的磁珠和缓冲液系统，从样品中分离纯化高质量基因组DNA。经过特殊包被的磁珠，在一定条件下对目的DNA具有很强的亲和力，而当条件改变时，磁珠释放吸附的DNA，能够达到快速分离纯化DNA的目的。整个过程不涉及有毒试剂，安全、便捷且提取的DNA纯度高。使用本试剂盒纯化的基因组DNA在A260/A280的紫外吸收均在1.7~2.0之间，可以应用到各类下游分子生物学实验。
